Get back to nature in first-class comfort

Get back to nature in first-class comfort Food and art lovers are being invited to dine with a difference this World Environment Day (5 June 2009). The AA Rosette award-winning JB’s Bar and Restaurant in Park Plaza Victoria London has teamed up with fine-art photographer Joseph Eta to bring the outdoors in and create the experience of dining inside an art installation.

A delicious all-organic menu, which uses elements from around the world, will be served alongside stunning images from the natural world. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Greenpeace.

“I am delighted to be taking part in what promises to be a stunning evening to stimulate the senses,” says Eta.

Born and raised at the foot of a Cameroon mountain, Eta has been influenced by the beauty of nature his entire life.

“My images capture extraordinary moments in an ordinary day - a simple flower or a local beach transformed by the iridescent light of dawn. My wish is to help people see the beauty in the world around them, every day,” says Eta.

“We are delighted to be celebrating World Environment Day in such an exciting way,” says Ramesh Costa, General Manager at Park Plaza Victoria London.

“The protection of the natural world is incredibly important to all of us – but we want to celebrate Mother Nature in a fun way, to help people appreciate it.”

The World Environment Day experience will take place on the evening of Friday 5 June 2009. To book a table, contact Park Plaza Victoria London - parkplaza.com.
