HPI has been chosen as the sole provider of vehicle information for Sunwin Motor Group, one of Yorkshire’s leading motor traders. Under the new agreement, HPI will be providing provenance checks, mileage investigations and Driveaway, a unique 7-day insurance product, offering Sunwin customers added value and peace of mind. This latest contract builds on a successful long-term relationship and places HPI firmly as Sunwin’s preferred vehicle provenance supplier.

Sunwin Motors is part of The Co-operative Group, one of the largest retail co-operatives in Europe and one of the top 50 motor dealers in the UK, operating in the Northwest and West Yorkshire. HPI has been working with Sunwin since 2005, providing Driveaway, a 7-day insurance service designed to speed up the sales process and help customers get behind the wheel of their new purchase.

“Over the last few years, we have developed a strong relationship with HPI and its proven focus on customer care and quality service makes it the obvious choice for Sunwin,” explains Ian Beardmore of Sunwin Motor Group. “In a natural expansion of this partnership, we have decided to work solely with HPI to provide our vehicle investigations.

“HPI has an impressive range of offerings over and above the provenance check, making it stand apart from the competition. For example, Driveaway enables us to offer our customers instant cover, so they can drive their purchase straight off the forecourt with seven day free insurance cover. We continue to be enthusiastic about using Driveaway to its full potential, working closely with HPI to boost sales as well as the overall car buying experience for our customers.”

Daniel Burgess, Director of Automotive at HPI, comments, “This contract is a clear illustration of HPI’s ability to deliver a full range of products based on an outstanding quality of data. We are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with Sunwin, and look forward to working closely together. We aim to provide Sunwin customers with the ultimate in peace of mind and added value benefits, while offering its dealers a competitive edge.”

Beardmore concludes, “Sunwin places customer care at the heart of everything it does, challenging staff to deliver the best possible service at all times. I am confident that our partnership with HPI will help us build upon the trust our customers have in Sunwin as part of The Co-operative Group, as we continue to meet their changing needs.”
