West Indian cuisine takes centre stage at Le Méridien Al Aqah Adding to the festive summer atmosphere at Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, the Swaad Restaurant will showcase the distinct flavors of Goa during July, with a selection of favorites from the state.

Located on India’s lush western coast, Goa is a popular tourist destination and offers an abundance of fresh seafood. The Goan Festival will incorporate the seafood dishes, as well as local Goan dishes, with a blend of Portugese dishes influenced by the Portugese rule of Goa.

Swaad Restaurant’s selection is priced from AED 45 to AED 140; with popular dishes such as Goan prawn curry, mutton vindaloo, chicken xacutti, and bebinca. For those who prefer a South East Asian flavor, Taste Thai Restaurant will celebrate the subtle flavors of South East Asia, with dishes such as Vietnamese beef, prawns sambal.

Swaad Restaurant and Taste Thai Restaurant are both open daily for dinner from 7:00pm to 10:30pm. Swaad Restaurant is open for lunch on Fridays from 12:30 to 3pm.

Views continues its international evenings, priced from AED185 to AED 215. Starting at 7pm at Views, diners can choose from Festa Italiana on Saturdays, Asian Breeze on Sundays, Tour de France on Mondays, Locavores on Tuesdays, Mexicana on Wednesdays and Sea View on Fridays. All of the menus, except Taste of Arabia and Sea Views, are priced at AED 185, including a refreshing selection of beverages. Taste of Arabia and Sea Views are priced at AED 215.

Views restaurant is offering a value-packed Friday lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, priced at AED 199 including pool and beach access. On weekdays, the buffet lunch is available from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the price of AED 133.

Baywatch Village’s Pool and Beach Bars are a popular destination during summer – offering refreshing drinks and lights snacks, as well as a range of shisha flavours from 5pm daily.

Gonu Bar and Grill, on the shores of the resort’s private beach, offers all day dining, as well as moonlight dinners. The Gonu chefs can also tailor a special dinner menu, priced at AED 1200 or AED 1500 including bubbly.

And for more private dining, hotel guests can enjoy the convenience of dining in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms through the 24-hour In Room Dining service. Special menus are available on request.

Astro’s, the 20th floor bar with spectacular view of the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean on the, is an ideal venue for after work-beverages. Astro’s is open on weekdays from 6:00pm to 1:00am and on weekends from 6:00pm to 2:00am.

Tea & Dates, the hotels’ stylish lobby lounge, offers an assortment pastries, fresh croissants, sandwiches, salads, dates, and delectable cakes, complemented by the finest hot and cold beverages, including a signature coffee menu. Tea & Dates is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
