A dream package from Lainston House Hotel

On Monday 06 July, Winchester Cathedral will host the UK debut, and second ever performance, of Sir John Tavener’s spiritually arresting and critically acclaimed “Towards Silence”, performed by four string quartets, including the world famous Medici Quartet, re-formed for this event.

This spectacular event will be the pinnacle of Winchester’s Art and Mind Festival and Tavener himself, who has been critically ill, is expected to be attending this performance.

The theme for this year’s Art and Mind Festival is “Dreams”, and so, to tie in with the Tavener performance, the enchanting four-star Lainston House Hotel in Winchester is offering a Dream package.
