Comedy Club comes to Savill Court

30th June 2009 Print
Comedy Club comes to Savill Court Following the huge success of the first Comedy Club night at the stylish Savill Court Hotel in June, there’s still a chance to treat your family and friends to a great evening of fun and laughter at two further live shows planned for Friday 17 July and 21 August.

Set in 22 acres of wooded parkland, the top entertainment venue is on the edge of Windsor Great Park, Surrey. Each fun evening will feature three top stand-up comedians from the UK circuit plus a buffet supper, joke competition with prizes and disco until the early hours.

Headlining the first fun night on Friday, 17 July will be Milton Jones, star of his own radio series, The Very World of Milton Jones. He will be joined by Kevin McCarthy, who has the wonderful ability to find humour in any subject, and comic singer and songwriter, Richard Morton, a regular on Channel 5 and winner of the Time Out Comedy Award.

Packed with laughs, the fun night on Friday, 21 August will feature popular TV and radio performer Mike Milligan along with Erich McElroy, originally from Seattle he has been doing the stand-up circuit in Britain for five years, and Steve Day. A truly unique comedian, Steve is warm, witty and engaging while dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world; his problems caused by not knowing how words are pronounced will have the audience in raptures.

The comedy only is priced at £15 per person, or with fork buffet its £25. Savill Court has also put together comedy night packages for those who want to stay over from £69pp including a full English breakfast based on two sharing. Doors open from 7pm and the show starts at 8.30pm; Comedy Club evenings are for over 18s only.

Overnight guests also have free use of the Savill Spa with its 15-metre heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, Technogym, relaxation area and three beauty studios offering pamper treatments for men and women using luxurious Decleor products from Paris (treatments extra, advance booking recommended).
