More hotel options for families with kids

Worldhotels, the group for independent hotels, is launching special “Holiday with Kids” packages just in time for the summer holidays. The packages, which include special deals and discounts, ranging from complimentary hotel stays for children to free access at family attractions, are available at many of Worldhotels’ affiliate hotels around the world.

Packages for families travelling with kids can be booked on worldhotels.com/family and are available from now until 31st December 2009 (subject to availability).

Hotel de France, Vienna, Austria

The Hotel de France in Vienna has a special family package featuring two nights accommodation in a Tower suite with a separate play room, daily buffet breakfast, one complimentary lunch, a free Ferris wheel ride at the famous Vienna Prater and a 72-hour ticket for use on Vienna’s public transport. The package also includes free entrance to Minopolis, the “City of Children”, where kids between the age of four and 12 can explore a miniature world and play-act various scenes of an adult's life.

Providing the perfect base from which to explore Austria’s capital city, the Hotel de France offers 194 rooms and is situated within walking distance to some of Vienna’s most famous sights, including St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Hofburg Palace. The family package starts at 359 EUR (approximately: 310 GBP) per night for one adult and two children.

Bintan Lagoon Resort, Bintan Island, Indonesia

Face painting, origami, treasure hunting, painting classes, archery and laser quest are just some of the fun activities available for children staying at the Bintan Lagoon Resort. This deluxe four-star resort is offering a special family package including one night’s accommodation for up to two people; complimentary meals for two children under the age of 12; a recreational credit worth 30 SGD (approximately: 19 GBP); and the chance for one child under the age of 12 to share their parent’s room for free.

Bintan Lagoon Resort is set amidst 300 hectares of beachfront gardens and its family package starts from 140 SGD (approximately: 87 GBP) per person per night in a double room.

Berliner Hof, Berlin, Germany

Kids under 12 go for free and get entry to either Berlin’s Legoland Center or the city’s Tiergarten Zoo, when staying at the Berliner Hof as part of the Worldhotels’ ‘Holiday with Kids’ package. The offer includes two nights accommodation with buffet breakfast. The Berliner Hof offers 76 well-appointed rooms and is perfectly located close to Berlin’s main attractions. Packages at this hotel start from 110 EUR (approximately: 95 GBP) per person per night.
