Fortina Spa Resort to sponsor Sheffield United

Sheffield United Football Club has today unveiled Malta’s luxurious five-star, Fortina Spa Resort, as a platinum sponsor of the club, which will see the hotel’s brand logo displayed across the Bramall Lane Evolution Family Corner Stand.

This latest agreement follows recent announcements that Capita Symonds and the GAC Group have signed deals to become global partners of the Blades.

The Blades have developed a strong relationship with the Fortina Spa Resort having stayed at the 5-star hotel during the club’s pre-season tour of Malta. The partnership extends United’s relationship with the island, after the Malta Tourism Authority renewed its ‘VisitMALTA.com’ sponsorship for a further two years.

Situated in central Sliema, the Fortina Spa Resort enjoys magnificent views of Valletta’s bastion walls. It’s Malta’s newest 5-star hotel and houses the world’s first ‘Therapeutic Spa’ bedrooms. The resort boasts four spa centres, six restaurants, conference facilities, five swimming pools and a fully equipped fitness centre. The Fortina Spa Resort provided the perfect pre-season base camp, with many of the Blades first team players using the first class facilities during rest periods after their gruelling training sessions.
