Air France to offer gourmet cuisine
From now on, passengers with access to the Air France l’Espace Première lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport can discover and sample a new range of gourmet dishes created by Jean-François Rouquette, Chef at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme Hotel.To ensure there’s something to suit all tastes whatever the time of day, Jean-François Rouquette has reinvented the refined finger food concept and recreated the classic French gourmet dishes, taking inspiration from ingredients traditionally used in dishes from Asia, Southern Europe and the U.S.
A full breakfast menu offers a choice of well-balanced dishes to provide a nutritious start to your day, comprising fresh fruit, cereals, a choice of yoghurt and home-made pastries.
The lunch and dinner menus offer passengers a choice of seasonal dishes from all over the world such as tofu, tortillas and even hot dogs, along with classic French favourites such as the Parisian sandwich, the vegetarian sandwich or chocolate mousse served up in small tapas-sized portions.
Thanks to this unprecedented partnership with the leading contemporary designed luxury hotel, Park Hyatt, the airline benefits from the professional know-how of the Parisian hotel’s staff available in the lounge.
“This partnership with Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme marks the expansion of our l’Espace Première service at the airport: personalized assistance, baggage porter, exclusive check-in area, transfer by private car to the aircraft”, stated Patrick Roux, VP Marketing at Air France.
“The recipes created by Jean-François Rouquette and our pastry chef Jean-François Foucher are presented in portions suited to the tastes of our international customers, such as the “not guilty”, ideal for the weight-conscious or the “Petit Choc”, for the food lovers”, added Arnaud Duhem, restaurant director at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme.
