Air France unveils new cabin for Airbus A321 On 25 January 2008, passengers travelling on Air France’s latest Airbus A321 will be able to discover the new cabin and colour scheme to feature on the airline’s new Airbus A320 fleet.

The cabin structure has benefited from numerous improvements to make it more modern and spacious. The cabin interiors have also been fully revamped.

The new cabin, offering additional space in width and height, has also been given a makeover, with a host of aesthetic and practical new features:

- more spacious overhead baggage compartments
- lighting that enhances the fully renovated ceiling
- a new trim for the windows, making them look wider,
- renovated passenger control functionalities (air vents, individual lighting, call button) and seat numbering also displayed in Braille.

The cabin has been given a new cabin decor, adding a more light-filled and graphic dimension to the design:

- the pearly white wall panels illuminate the cabin
- the structure of the white poker-dot dark blue seat and the central table separating the seats in l’Espace Affaires have been complemented by beige
- the grey/taupe carpet is enhanced with white and red graphic lines that draw attention to the red handrail situated underneath the baggage compartments,
- the taupe and grey-beige curtains at the front and rear of the cabin complete this new decor.

This new cabin, which is larger, quieter and brighter, confirms Air France’s ambition to offer its customers enhanced travel comfort whenever possible.
