Starting on 2 June 2008, Air France is launching the new non-stop Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Salt Lake City (Utah) service. The flight is operated by a Delta Air Lines’ Boeing 767-300ER, equipped with 36 seats in BusinessElite and 178 seats in Economy. The flight is operated on a code-share basis by Air France and Delta.

“We are very pleased to be able to expand our transatlantic flight offering, with the opening of our 15th gateway to the United States” said Christian Herzog, Senior VP Americas Air France. “The new Paris-Salt Lake City flight fits in perfectly with our network strategy, our ambition being to offer, along with KLM, Delta and our SkyTeam partners, the best service between Europe and the rest of the world”.

Flight times for the daily Paris - Salt Lake City service:

* DL171/AF8990, departing Paris-CDG Terminal 2E at 10:20am, arriving Salt Lake City at 1.30pm (flight time 11 hours and 10 min).
* DL170/AF8991, departing Salt Lake City at 5.00pm, and arriving Paris-CDG Terminal 2E at 11.15am the following day (flight time 10 hours and 15 min).

These flight times ensure customers have access to numerous connecting opportunities with Air France and Delta flights, both at Paris-CDG and Salt Lake City.

Air France now serves Delta's four main hubs in the United States: Atlanta, Cincinnati, New York JFK and Salt Lake City.

The Paris – Salt Lake City route falls within the geographic scope of the joint venture agreement to share revenue and costs on their transatlantic routes signed in October 2007 by both airlines.
