Air France keeps passengers up to speed with latest sports news

5th August 2008 Print
For several weeks now, passengers travelling on Air France long-haul flights* can keep up with the latest sports news with the daily 10-minute news bulletin screened on board and produced for Air France by L’Equipe TV, the leading French non-stop, round-the-clock sports news channel.

Produced each morning specially for Air France, this illustrated news bulletin sums up in French and English all the results and highlights of the major competitions held late evening or during the night.

“Air France is the first airline to screen a sports news bulletin every morning. During the Olympic Games, our customers, two-thirds of whom are international, will be able to follow the performance of their favourite teams and sports” declared Patrick Roux, Vice President Marketing of Air France.

Air France is gradually phasing in on its long-haul flights a new inflight entertainment programme, offering 85 movies, which is constantly upgraded. Air France is the first European airline to offer as many seats equipped with individual video in all classes (23,000 screens).
