Gulf Air's recently launched 'Become a Million-Air' promotion for its Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP) members, saw three lucky winners flying away with a million miles each.

Mr. Charles Kreuz, a resident in Dubai and a Blue member of the Gulf Air FFP, Mr. Alan Darley, a Silver member from Saudi Arabia and Mr Paul Mills Gold for Life member from the UK were randomly selected in three separate computerised draws held at the Gulf Air Headquarters in Bahrain.

"My congratulations to the lucky winners," says Gulf Air Acting Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales, Mr. Danny Barranger.

"Our FFP promotions are always a hit with our members as we have seen in the past "million miles" and other special promotions because of the generous rewards they offer."

"Gulf Air values the loyalty and support of our Frequent flyers and we would like to thank them through such opportunities by making their travel experience even more rewarding."

Mr. Kreuz was over the moon when he received the news. "This is great; I may use some of the miles to visit my son in the USA, as well as travel to other destinations on the Gulf Air network," he said.

Mr. Darley, the second Million-Air was equally happy. "This is fantastic and I thank Gulf Air for this great promotion," he said.

All draws were held in the presence of an official from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, who verified the draws were random and conducted properly.

Under the 'Become a Million-Air' promotion, Gulf Air Frequent flyers who travel with the airline between 1 November and 5 December 2007, will be entered into a weekly draw to win one million miles every week for five weeks.

In the final week, all those who have flown during this period will be entered into a final draw to win a VIP weekend for two to the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2008.

Winners of the promotion will be able to use their miles to travel for free, to any of the Gulf Air destinations worldwide while enjoying the luxury of First or Business Class cabins, its luxurious Sleeper Seats and the services of Sky Chefs.

For example, a million miles can be redeemed for 18 First Class return tickets from Bahrain to Middle East destinations or 10 Business Class return tickets from Europe to Gulf destinations.
