Gulf Air inaugurates new lounge at Dubai

In its ongoing initiatives to provide enhanced travel experience to its customers, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, inaugurated its fully renovated lounge at Dubai International airport this week.

Director General, Dubai Civil Aviation Mr. Mohammed Al Ahli, and Gulf Air Vice President Ground Operations Mr. Ahmed Janahi cut the golden ribbon and opened the lounge facilities. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports Company, Mr. Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice President Aviation Unit, Dubai Airports Company and several senior officials from Dubai Civil Aviation and Gulf Air.

The lounge with new interiors and ergonomically designed seating offers modern facilities such as functional business units with computers with Internet connectivity, telephone and fax facilities. Two specially designed tents provide an Arabian flavour to the lounge environment.

The lounge, which is open from 5.30 am to 01.00am, also offers shower facilities and, a wide selection of international, regional newspapers and magazines for the premium passengers to read and relax as they wait for their flights.
