Responding to the increasing passenger demand, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has introduced one more flight between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain from 01 April 2008.

In addition to its existing three daily flights, this fourth flight, GF545/546 will operate four times a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday- between the UAE capital and Bahrain.

"Our frequency increase between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain was in response to the growing passenger demand and the potential of the vast UAE market," says Gulf Air Regional General Manager Sales, Mahfood Al Harthy.

"We have slotted this fourth frequency in such a way to provide better connectivity with minimum waiting time for our customers travelling to Trivandrum, Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore, Dhaka and Far East destinations, i.e., Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Bangkok, via Bahrain. It will be welcome choice for those making their summer travel plans."

"Business travellers will find this additional frequency extremely convenient as they now have flexible options to travel in the morning flight and return by this evening flight after competing their businesses," concludes Mr. Al Harthy.

With this new service, Gulf Air now operates 81 weekly departures from the U.A.E. effectively serving all the Emirates.
