Love is in the air this Valentines – literally

Escaping the recession with a romantic break is high on the agenda for many British travellers this February 14th, with many planning to break out from the recession blues by having a frisky frolic en route to their destination.

A recent poll by Cheapflights.co.uk, the UK’s leading flight price comparison website where you can search and compare the most deals on the market, found 51 percent of viewers are hoping to join the Mile High Club when travelling to their Valentine’s break, with a further 21 percent considering joining the Club. Just 27 percent of Brits would rather keep it in their pants during their flight.

“Talk of the Mile High Club is normally accompanied by jokes, blushing cheeks and laughter,” says Nadine Hallak, Travel Expert for Cheapflights.co.uk.

“We wondered whether this age old ‘club’ held appeal for our viewers. It turns out the country is clambering over each other to join the Mile High Club as a start to their Valentine’s getaway.”
