Iceland Express celebrates birthday with £19 seat sale

The low fares airline, Iceland Express is celebrating its fourth birthday with a 3000-seat sale at £19.00 one-way (excluding taxes).

Seats are available on their route between London Stansted and Reykjavik for travel between January and October and must be booked via the icelandexpress.co.uk website on the 10th, 11th or 12th January 2007.

Marketing Manager, Arnar Þór Hafþórsson, said: “ We launched the airline with the intention of bringing down the costs of flying to Iceland – and we’ve achieved that. Now we’re celebrating by offering even lower fares to encourage more people to visit this unique country. We are still the only low cost carrier to fly between the UK and Iceland which makes our daily winter and double daily summer flights the best value way to fly for both regular travelers and holidaymakers.”

The seat sale fare is £19.00 one-way (excluding taxes) or £51.00 one way (including taxes). Bookings open at mid-day on the 10th January for 48 hours.
