United Airlines has announced its new partnership with legendary Chicago restaurant owner and Chef Charlie Trotter. Customers flying in United First and United Business on eastbound flights to Europe and on United's premium transcontinental service p.s.SM can select cuisine specially created by Trotter, beginning this summer.

"We're pleased to partner with world-renowned chef Charlie Trotter to develop a memorable in-flight dining experience for our customers," said Charlie Ahmes, United's vice president of Onboard Service. "Offering an upscale menu for our customers traveling in our premium cabins is one of the many ways we are enhancing our customers' overall travel experience."

"I am delighted to once again be in partnership with United, as I believe United is the top service provider in the airline industry," says Chef Charlie Trotter. "I look forward to creating unique, high-quality cuisine for United's customers in this new role and I am positive that the customers who fly this airline will appreciate the level of service that United has decided to once again give its culinary component."

To ensure premium quality, Chef Charlie Trotter will collaborate with United's Corporate Executive Chef Gerry Gulli on the menu options. United will be the only airline to offer these entrées.
