Residents in the city of Three Rivers now have two new ways to reach the West Coast on United Airlines. Beginning September 2, United will offer daily service between Pittsburgh and United's hubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

"Our new trans-continental flights between Pittsburgh and the west coast ensure Pittsburgh residents have convenient, daily service across the country and one-stop connections to Asia," says Greg Kaldahl, vice president – Resource Planning. "With United now providing service between Pittsburgh and all five of our hubs across the U.S., our customers have numerous options for the best service that gets them where they need to go."

The flights are now open for sale and will be operated with an Airbus 319 aircraft.

The A319 has 120 seats, including 8 in first class, 40 in Economy Plus, and 72 in economy. Economy Plus offers customers up to five extra inches of legroom in the front of the economy cabin.

United has 32 flights a day between Pittsburgh and five cities, including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. With service to these five cities, Pittsburgh customers have easy access to more than 200 other cities throughout the U.S. and to the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and Latin America.
