HPI secures data partnership with Vertu

4th August 2009 Print

HPI has re-signed a two year contract with Vertu, one of the largest dealer groups in the UK, to supply provenance data to all Vertu sites through its showroom system. Under the new agreement information supplied will include vehicle identification back fill, selected HPI Check data for appraisals and full HPI Checks on part exchanges. The contract renewal builds on HPI’s already strong relationship with Vertu, as the group embraces a growing number of HPI services.

HPI has carried out a full site retraining programme, working with Vertu dealers to ensure that mileage investigation standards are thoroughly followed up. As part of its comprehensive support package, HPI supplies Vertu with reports, advising of any investigations that haven’t been carried out, ensuring Vertu continues to protect itself and its customers from mileage discrepancies.

“The quality of HPI’s data, backed by its customer services support team, means we can be confident in the calibre of our stock and our compliance with regulations,” explains Elaine Cole, Purchasing Director of Vertu. “But HPI provides us with much more than just its core provenance services, working closely with our dealers to deliver a range of benefits. For example, HPI’s Driveaway product is used as an integral part of our business, allowing our dealers to streamline the sales process, providing customers with free 7-day insurance cover. This is a relationship that continues to grow, with HPI bringing us real value and expertise.”

Daniel Burgess, Director of Automotive at HPI concludes, “We are delighted to be working with Vertu for a further two years, extending an already very successful partnership. Vertu has embraced a rounded portfolio of HPI services to strengthen its sales opportunities, enhance its customer proposition and support its dealers. We will continue to work closely with Vertu, developing a tailor made solution designed to maintain its competitive edge.”
