Get active this Easter

23rd February 2009 Print
For families looking to spend time together at Easter - taking part in exciting adventures and learning new skills - there's a lot more choice this year with PGL's 'Family Active' programme.

'Family Active' Easter breaks - two-, four- and seven-nights - are available this year at seven adventure centres across the UK, and all offer a huge choice of activities such as abseiling, mountain biking, raft building, canoeing/kayaking, orienteering and fencing.to name but a few.

Centres offering Easter breaks for families are Barton Hall (Devon); Boreatton Park (Shropshire); Dalguise (Perthshire); Caythorpe Court (Lincolnshire); Marchants Hill (Surrey); Osmington Bay (Dorset) and Little Canada (Isle of Wight).

Two-night breaks start on 3, 10 or 11 April, four-night stays are from 6 and 13 April or seven-night holidays (Barton Hall only) are available from 4 or 11 of the month. The lead in price for a two-night stay is £120 per adult, £109 per child aged six- to 18-years and £75 for the two-to-fives. A family of two adults and two older children will therefore pay a total of £458.

On all breaks, accommodation is usually in family or adjoining rooms - with all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, plus evening entertainment, included. Single parents pay no supplement when sharing a family room with their children.
