Easter in a Cornish castle Stay in a Cornish castle on the coast near Rosudgeon with wonderful sea views across to St Michael’s Mount this Easter. The garden apartment, which sleeps four, is available for a week’s stay from Friday 11 April priced at £462.

Grade II listed, Acton Castle was built by the romantic but rheumatic seaweed expert, John Stackhouse, as a wedding present to his betrothed, Susanna Acton in the late 1770s. Now divided into apartments it has a sunken garden with a shallow pond and sensational sea views across to St Michael’s Mount.
