London tops the chart for the second year in a row, closely followed by Paris.London is the top destination for Brits and is the ideal place for couples and families this Easter. Average hotel prices are 119 pounds over the Easter weekend. There are many Easter egg hunts going on around London on Easter Sunday, trivago recommends Kew Gardens or the London Bridge Experience for something a little different. A night at the theatre is also a good option this Easter, current productions include, Billy Elliott, The Lion King and Hairspray.
Paris is the second choice for Brits and the most expensive top ten destination: a double room costs an average of 120 pounds over Easter. There are numerous activities to do around Easter including attending a church service at the Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, or Madeline. trivago travellers also suggest a trip to the Grand Palais where a new exhibition features over 150 of Andy Warhol's most famous pieces of artwork.
Rome is the third most popular destination this Easter, the average price for a double room is 109 pounds. The average price for a room in Edinburgh over the past six months was 104 pounds.

The top destination for the Italians is Rome, where a standard double room costs 109 pounds. Berlin is the most popular destination for the Germans and Paris is the top destination for the French.
