An eggs-treme Easter challenge!

28th February 2007 Print
Extreeme Adventures Whether you’re looking for the next adrenaline rush, a new adventure or an extreme way to burn off some Easter egg calories – why not put your nerves to the test by climbing, swinging and jumping amongst some of the tallest trees in Eastern England at Extreeme Adventure - the newest and highest rope course to hit the UK.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of New Wood, Norfolk, the course offers thrill-seeking visitors the opportunity to conquer 20 different activities whilst 20 or 40ft high in 100-year old trees. Feel the G force on the 45ft 3G-swing, the fear of the 80ft fan descender jump and the sheer exhilaration of flying 1000 ft down the zip wire. The fun doesn’t end there, the speed you reach on the zip wire, means there’s only one way down – abseil!

For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground – enjoy the woodland walk, the sheer size and height of the trees make for magnificent surroundings. The New Wood is the oldest example of continuous cover forestry in Britain and has been managed under this system, by the Coke family, for more than 100 years. It is never clear felled which allows many unusual flowering shrubs and trees to thrive under the shelter of the high forest.

An open sided pavilion, offering catering facilities including BBQ to order and an open-log fire make Extreeme adventure the perfect day out this Easter.

The course takes approximately 2.5 hours, for more information, including video clip and advance booking, visit extreemeadventure.co.uk.
