Easter “Eggs-Travaganza” at The Grove

The Grove’s fun-packed weekend - with something for everyone – kicks off on Good Friday 6th April with a bouncy castle at the OFSTED-inspected kids club, Anouska’s, followed by an afternoon of magic mayhem. Late afternoon includes a kid’s tea with side-splitting clowns and entertainers, and a treasure hunt across the hotel grounds.
Meanwhile, adult guests can relax in the Kids Free Zone in the Garden Room, book in for a massage in Sequoia, the award-winning spa - or go for something more energetic, perhaps a game of tennis or a swim in the outdoor pool in the Walled Garden, weather permitting (or the indoor pool, and children have their own dedicated pool as well).
Easter Saturday: begins with a Ping Pong competition, followed by a tour of the formal gardens. If the guests fancy a round or two of golf, there will be an adult golf clinic, as well as a Junior Golf Competition for all those aspiring golf stars. For a more relaxing way to spend the afternoon, there will be a chance to learn how to “pot your own” in the Orchid House in the Walled Garden.
If the younger guests still have energy to spare, Soccer Rascals on the football field will guarantee to tire out the most energetic. More magic brings the younger ones into the early evening before guests can take part in a delicious and mouth-watering chocolate lesson. To round up this action-packed day, there is a Kid’s Tea complete with clowns and entertainers.
Easter Sunday: Sunday morning sees the annual Family Easter Egg Hunt. There will also be another chance to brush up on those tennis skills or enjoy another chocolate lesson. The Grove Estate Nature Walk is an enjoyable way to take the guests into the afternoon, shortly before the Easter Bonnet Parade in the Walled Garden. A traditional Sunday Lunch will be served. After lunch, the fun will continue with another adult Golf Clinic, a junior golf competition, more magic and chocolate, and a touch of Karate before the children’s tea and entertainment.
Easter Monday: The perfect way for the guests to chill out after an action-packed weekend is to take part in the guided walk for adults through The Grove’s 300 acres of park and woodland.
