Eggstravagant fun for the Easter holidays

There’s an eggcellent time in store for kids this Easter at the Easter Eggstravaganza at Willows Farm Village in Hertfordshire, every day from 15th March to 6th April. The 500 acre farm village near St Alban’s will be decorated for the event with bunnies, Easter eggs and spring flowers.

There is a jam-packed programme of Easter activities planned, and visitors will also be able to see some of the farm animals with their new babies.

Willows’ famous Bunny Hunt will be returning this Easter, with twelve wooden bunnies hiding throughout the Farm Village waiting to be discovered, and there will be a chocolate treat for every child who takes part.

Children’s entertainer ‘Stripey Wipey’ will be at the Farm Village from 3pm each day during Easter Eggstravaganza performing tricks, telling jokes and making balloon models. There is also a brand new Children’s Disco being launched this Easter, running from 4.30pm to 5.30pm every day.

Andrew Wolfe, farmer at Willows, says: “Easter is all about new beginnings and it’s a perfect time of year to visit the Farm Village. Not only do we have a packed programme of activities planned for the holidays, we also expect to have a number of baby animals for the children to meet.

Andrew adds: “Willows mascot ‘Woolly Willow’ will be around during Easter Eggstravaganza and loves meeting all the children at the Farm Village. Keep an eye out for him while doing the Bunny Hunt and go and say hello!”

As well as the special Easter activities planned, children will also be able to enjoy a full programme of Willows’ favourite events including rides on Tristan the Runaway Tractor, watching the Daft Duck Trials and the Sheepstakes Sheepracing, seeing falconry displays, playing in our new indoor play barn Woolly Jumpers and visiting the animals in Farmyard Favourite.
