Walking in unspoilt Majorca

Leading guided walking tour operator, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays is offering a one week holiday in Puerto de Soller – one of the most beautiful and remote parts of this glorious island.

This land-locked bay, gives the appearance of a placid lake and the holiday hotel ‘Marbell’ is situated on the sea front – literally yards from a small beach.

The area, is ideal for walking – particularly along the foothills of Puig Mayor and Teix (two of the highest peaks of the west coast’s Sierra de Tramuntana range).

One also follows an old Pilgrim’s Way – passing through olive groves and ancient farmsteads.

Inland, one can visit the idyllic town of Soller linked to the coast by wonderful old tramway.

These walks are perfect for people wishing to escape the bustle of the island’s more developed areas but still wishing to savour that essential atmosphere of Spain’s Balearic islands.

Price from £508 per person includes, return flights, transfers, half-board accommodation and the services of a tour leader
