Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens, near Fakenham in Norfolk, famous for hosting BBC Springwatch, is running two Fungus Foray workshops with local expert Dr. Tony Leech at 10am and 1.30pm on Thursday 29th October 2009.

This popular workshop will teach you how to identify different species of fungi including what’s edible and what’s not. Tony, a local expert, has a wealth of knowledge about the mushrooms and toadstools found in Norfolk and his enthusiasm rubs of on adults and children alike

The cost is only £7 for children, £9 for seniors, £10.50 for adults and £2 for those who hold a Pensthorpe season card and this includes entrance into reserve for the day. To book a place on the workshop e-mail info@pensthorpe.com.

The course will take place out on the nature reserve so participants are asked to bring sensible footwear and clothing.
