Interior at St. Davids Gardens The first homes at George Wimpey’s St David’s Gardens development in Eskbank, Dalkeith have gone on sale. St David’s Gardens, just off Abbey Road in Eskbank, Dalkeith boasts stunning views over Newbattle golf course, and offers an extensive mix of 105 modern family homes from George Wimpey’s new Abbey range.

This is a unique collection of homes designed especially for this development to complement their location within the conservation area of the village.

With a choice of twenty house styles, St David’s Gardens offers a range of two and three bedroom apartments and semi detached homes to appeal to first-time buyers and young families, as well as spacious three, four and five bedroom detached homes and townhouses for larger families who need more space for everyday living. Prices currently start from £365,000 for a four bedroom semi-detached Melrose, however a broader choice of more homes will become available over the next few months.

Located just off the A68, Dalkeith offers easy access to the Edinburgh City by-pass making this development a convenient choice for commuters to other parts of the Lothians or The Borders.

As the bustling centre of Midlothian, Dalkeith has a good mix of shops and leisure facilities. Plus a range of primary and secondary education makes it a popular choice for families.

The stunning local scenery encourages outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and golf, whilst families will enjoy the freedom and space offered at Vogrie Country Park or Dalkeith Country Park. For the more adventurous, the Midlothian Snowsports Centre is just a short drive from the development.

Karen Armstrong is sales and marketing director for George Wimpey East Scotland: “St David’s Gardens in Eskbank will offer one of the broadest ranges of homes available at any of our developments in the east of Scotland over the next few months. This development’s proximity to the city-centre of Edinburgh, as well as the city by-pass will make it a great choice for a wide range of customers.

The development boasts a beautiful rural setting within an established walled-garden with lovely mature trees creating a fabulously private and secluded place to live in this pretty village not far from Edinburgh.

“The initial interest in this development has been phenomenal and we’d encourage customers to visit the sales information centre to check out our latest availability as more house styles of all sizes become available over the next few months.”
