Three is the magic number for Persimmon
Scotland’s leading housebuilder, Persimmon Homes, is confirming its continued investment in Dumfriesshire with the launch of no less than three developments in the area.“Through extensive research in the region, we saw a shortage of new housing in Dumfriesshire and will therefore be satisfying this demand with a selection of some of our most favoured housetypes,” explains Ingrid Gahagan, sales director for Persimmon Homes West Scotland. “The three developments make up our most southerly sites to date and are sure to be as popular as their northern counterparts.”
Hillview Meadows, an exciting new development on the outskirts of Dumfries, is situated next to Persimmon’s previous and most successful Barnhill development. The site offers a range of three and four bedroom semi and detached villas priced from £148,995.
Ingrid Gahagan, sales director for Persimmon Homes West Scotland comments: “Our Barnhill development proved extremely popular with both locals and those looking to move to the Borders from further a field.”
Persimmon Homes’ latest development to launch, Mains Meadow in Lockerbie consists of 42 two, three and four bedroom homes and prices start from 136,995. The site has already proven popular with four properties reserved off plan within its first week.
Ingrid continues: “Mains Meadow is being built in a series of cul-de-sacs, making it a tranquil haven to escape the stresses of daily life. It’s also ideal for growing families as children can play outside without the worry of traffic and it will also incorporate an area of open space and a play area.”
Coming soon to Dumfries is Marchfields, which is due to launch late spring. The development will offer just 145 two, three and four bedroom villas with 12 different housetypes and a series of enviable apartments to choose from. Situated on the outskirts of Dumfries, the development is expected to be as popular as Persimmon’s current two sites in the area.
Ingrid concludes: “As a company, we have built a strong reputation throughout West Scotland for the imaginative design of our homes and carefully planned developments and I’m confident these new landmark sites will prove to be a real success with purchasers in the region.”
