Home buyers find out what’s cooking in Inverkip

Homebuyers hungry for a change of scenery were treated to a taste of things to come when they joined award winning Redrow for the launch of its new show home in Inverkip.

And the professionally designed and decorated ‘Wareham’ show home wasn’t the only tasty dish on the menu at Sylvan Brae.

Redrow had teamed up with The Cook School Scotland, at Braehead Foods, in Kilmarnock, and their head chef Jason McNelly was at Sylvan Brae to cook up some seafood delicacies for visitors.

His bite-size demonstrations and tastings were the perfect accompaniment to Redrow’s new show home, which is promoting a new selection of detached family homes with stunning views towards the Firth of Clyde and the beautiful mountains of Argyll.

Initial prices are from £199,950 for a four-bedroom ‘Langdale’, up to £334,950 for the largest property on the development, a five-bedroom detached ‘Windermere’.

The beautiful new four-bedroom Wareham show home depicts a contemporary, family home, with a delicious colour scheme of blacks, browns and cream, plus splashes of gold for a touch of opulence. It boasts a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and family room at the rear of the house, overlooking the garden, and it was here that Jason showed off some tricks of the trade.

Sylvan Brae will eventually comprise 89 three, four and five-bedroom detached homes at Hill Farm, in Inverkip, which are already appealing to local families as well as Glasgow and Greenock commuters.

Those with an existing property to sell can sign-up for Redrow’s assisted move scheme, which will help them find a buyer with the minimum of fuss and pay their estate agent’s fees at the end of the day.

The new homes are close to Inverkip railway station, from where the journey to Glasgow Central takes approximately 45 minutes.
