6th April 2009 Print
Don’t miss the boat in Ardrossan With just a few homes and apartments left at George Wimpey West Scotland’s popular development ‘The Harbour’, in the coastal town of Ardrossan, North Ayrshire, those interested in buying into the coastal lifestyle, have not missed the boat completely. However, these hot properties are selling well, so you’ll need to be quick off the mark!

There’s still a choice of three and four bedroom townhouses from £149,995 including the stunning Derwell showhome that’s just been released, as well as three bedroom end-terraced homes from just £130,000. And the final few two-bedroom apartments are now available with prices from £89,995.

The Harbour is George Wimpey’s debut development in Ardrossan and is located on Montgomerie Street, just off the town’s Princess Street. This makes it very central for accessing the town centre, shops, train stations, bus routes, Ardrossan Harbour (with regular ferries to the Isle of Arran), schools and all other important, local amenities.

On completion, The Harbour will comprise 42 contemporary two-bedroom apartments and a selection of 31 three and four-bedroom family homes – all finished to a high standard and in a prime location for easy travelling to Ayr and Irvine. It is also only 17 miles to Prestwick Airport and 29 miles to Glasgow via the upgraded M77.

Michelle Logie, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey West Scotland said:

“To get our customers on the move, and make the whole process as stress-free as possible, George Wimpey offers a superb range of incentives at The Harbour that can be tailored to an individual buyers’ requirements. From our innovative Depositmatch scheme that’s great for first-time buyers and matches a customer’s deposit up to 10%, part-exchange or access to our Easymover Scheme, I’m confident that we’ve got the right package to get you on the move to your dream home.

“Our advice to homebuyers that are interested in a good quality of life by the coast, which also represents very good value for money – is to move quickly. People are recognising the many benefits of living in this attractive town and this will only continue to grow.”
