George Wimpey launches final phase in Inverness

George Wimpey East Scotland has launched the long-awaited third and final phase of Kessock View, off Tower Road in Inverness. This phase of the development boasts a selection of 54 modern two, three and four bedroom family homes in a choice of seven house types located in an elevated position in the Westhill area of Inverness overlooking the Moray Firth.

There will be seven homes initially released for sale – one each of the styles available within this phase of the development, with prices starting from £160,000 for the two bedroom semi detached Esk.

With so few smaller properties currently available in the Inverness property market, demand is expected to be so high that some eager prospective customers are prepared to queue to secure their dream home on Saturday morning.

There was an unprecedented level of interest in the smaller two and three bedroom semi detached homes in phase two of the development.

In response to this demand in the market George Wimpey has worked with the local planning officers to create a good mix of properties in this last phase as Kathleen Bruno, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey East Scotland (North) Ltd explains: “There are so few three bedroom semi detached homes typically available in either the new build or the second-hand market in Inverness, that we’ve been inundated with interest on the limited selection that we had in our previous phase.

“We’ve worked with the local planning office to be able to offer more of the smaller two and three bedroom homes in our range in this our last phase of the development, whilst still being able to offer a comprehensive range of three and four bedroom detached homes for families who need a bit more space to call their own.

Phase three will be released at George Wimpey’s Kessock View development in Inverness at 12 noon on Saturday 26 May, 2007. Normal development opening times are 11.30am-5.30pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
