George Wimpey East Scotland has launched a new showarea at Kingsacre in Torbrex, Stirling where the company’s new Harbour range of homes has made their début.

The Kingsacre development is proving to be a big hit as eager house-hunters in Stirling are snapping up our new homes off-plan. The development boasts 110 homes and offers an extensive choice of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, as well as a range of one and two bedroom apartments. The prices currently start from £217,000 for a four bedroom home.

Situated off Wordie Road, the Kingsacre development is a continuation of George Wimpey’s previously successful Sycamore Rise development, and it provides easy access to the M9/M80 motorway network linking into most of central Scotland. It is also just a short drive from the centre of the beautiful and historic town of Stirling.

The showarea consists of a four bedroom detached Raasay – one of the four bedroom detached styles available at this development, and the popular Coll three bedroom semi detached home. The showhomes have been individually styled to show customers the full potential of the space they could be calling home, and also boast some of the hottest interior looks of the moment.

The four bedroom detached Raasay makes a dramatic and bold statement with its’ monochrome velvety black and cool white interiors and accent colour of vibrant yellow that runs throughout the house.

Next door the three bedroom semi detached Coll boasts a natural palette of winter whites, ice-cream blue and muted silver colours to create a calm zone in which to chill-out and relax whilst getting on with everyday living in this modern and practical family home.

In each of the showhomes, the kitchen provide a real focus as Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey East Scotland explains: “The kitchen is the real hub of a modern home, and we’ve recognised a real shift in customers’ expectations in this area of the home.

“The styling and functionality of kitchens have become incredibly important to customers, and we’re already seeing other interiors trends mirrored in the styles of kitchens that we now have available. High gloss veneers, plus satin chrome handles and appliances are now the popular choices and feature significantly in both our showhomes at Kingsacre.

“ Add this to features such as smooth door and drawer closing, clever cupboard storage to make the most of every available space, plus relaxed space for informal family dining and the chance to catch up on the day - so you can see just how key the kitchen has become in creating the perfect place to call home.”

The new showhomes are open seven days a week from 11.30am – 5.30pm. For more information on George Wimpey’s Kingsacre development visit Georgewimpey.co.uk.
