A new eco-friendly salon for central Leeds

As a leading salon in Yorkshire for over 23 years, Cutting Room Creative is delighted to announce the arrival of a second salon, which will be ready to welcome clients from October 2009.

Based on Albion Street, in the centre of Leeds, the stylishly eco-friendly salon will be an extension of the renowned Cutting Room Creative brand.

Over two decades ago, the owners Charles and Karen Dodds had a belief. To offer London standard hairdressing, outside of London. A bold belief, but one that proved good. Today, with over 85% of their dedicated team being trained inside the CRC doors, Charles and Karen are organically growing their business.

Colour has always been a passion at CRC, with numerous award wins securing the salon a place in the world of hairdressing colour. The belief of Charles and Karen today is to offer a colour salon that individualises colour techniques to each and every client. Like a fingerprint, hair colour should be unique to that individual.

With such a vivid belief it will come as no surprise that the leading brand in hair colour, L’Oreal will be opening up a colour academy within the new salon, early 2010. This will allow L’Oreal and the CRC team to combine their colour expertise, giving Leeds the ultimate colour experience in an elegant, contemporary setting.

Based over two floors, it will offer the same high standards that Leeds has come to expect from the Cutting Room Creative team at the original salon in Chapel Allerton. Industry stars Joe Nions and Carly Aplin will be moving to the city centre salon, managing the innovative services that will be on offer. A Breakfast Blow Dry Bar, for those early morning meetings, through to a Champagne Blow Dry Bar for after work drinks or those spontaneously night out, Cutting Room Creative is designed for style.

An exclusive consultation service with Karen Dodds where your skin tone, eye colour, lifestyle and hair colour are taken into consideration to discover the textures, materials, shapes, clothes and colours that best compliment you will be available in the luxurious Style Lounge. It was also be the only salon in Leeds city centre to exclusively offer the Shu Uemura range, a truly unique hair care journey that appeals to all the senses.
