Beauty experts show case latest hair and make-up trends for brides

For the first time ever, all the makeovers were done on the main stage and they also did all the models on the main catwalk as well as working in the How To Look Good consultation area.
A genuine bride was also made over for her wedding day with Errol and Ariane at the hotel early to get her ready…
Says Errol, “Bridal trends for 2010 include lovely 50s knots, low at the crown not at the nape, backcombed into a pod shape with a bit of movement. You can attach flowers, ornaments, or wear hair loose and asymmetrically. Breakfast at Tiffany style princess fringes and tiaras are also coming back.
“For the models here we used a lot of hair bands/alice bands with shapes added in. This is a thin alice band made to look dramatic. Don’t confuse it with fascinators, which only go one side of the head where this goes all the way around - you can get real shape from it.”
Errol Douglas is at 18 Motcomb Street, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 8LB. For more information and appointments, visit Erroldouglas.com.
Ariane Poole make-up is stocked at the Errol Douglas salon (exclusive London stockist) – Ariane and her team can be booked for consultations or for wedding day services.
