McCarthy & Stone plants Field of Hope in Northamptonshire Northamptonshire residents are being invited to remember a loved one and raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care by planting a bulb in the ‘Field of Hope’ at McCarthy & Stone’s St Rumbolds Court development in Northamptonshire.

On Tuesday 3rd November at 2pm, visitors will be able to plant a daffodil bulb in the ‘Field of Hope’ garden at the development in memory or celebration of friends and family. There will also be an opportunity on the day to make a donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care to help provide more nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their families.

Robin Pike, regional sales and marketing manager for McCarthy & Stone, commented: “The ‘Field of Hope’ at our St Rumbolds development will give people an opportunity to dedicate a tangible reminder to their loved ones. In addition to raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care, which is our nominated charity, the garden will also really enhance the environment for our residents to enjoy when the daffodils flower next spring.”

After the planting, visitors can enjoy afternoon tea and homemade cakes and will be able to look around the developments and the facilities enjoyed by residents to really get a feel for life at McCarthy & Stone.

St Rumbolds Court is a development of 62 one and two bedroom apartments just outside the pretty town centre of Brackley. There are good transport links to Oxford, Banbury and Northampton and a mainline railway station just a few miles away in Kings Sutton for access to London and Birmingham.
