Forging ahead at St James’ Village

25th September 2009 Print
Forging ahead at St James’ Village Just three quarters of the way through 2009 and leading housebuilder George Wimpey has nearly sold its stock of homes at The Forge development in New Farnley.

The developer is now urging home seekers to take advantage of the excellent deals on high quality homes that can be purchased off-plan at the location.

Customers will be able to choose from a selection of detached three and four bedroom townhouses and four and five bedroom detached homes from £249,995 for 2010 completion.

According to Carol Vause, sales executive at The Forge, the development is proving to be particularly popular with people from the local area looking to upgrade their old house for a high quality new-build home and is also proving a huge hit with people employed at nearby
St James’s Hospital and Leeds Bradford Airport.

She commented: “People like the fact that we can offer them a wide mix of house types from three storey townhouses to detached homes – all at very reasonable prices.

“Word of mouth has also played a large part in the success of the development, with a lot of happy residents recommending the site to their friends and family.”

The only property remaining at The Forge for 2009 is just one of the four bedroom detached Malbury home, available at £269,995.

For 2010 The Forge will continue to boast The Distinctive Collection, a deluxe range of high specification detached homes, which include luxury extras such as upgraded fittings and fixtures, stylish white panelled internal doors and heated towel rails for the bathroom.

Carol said: “All homes within the Distinctive Collection are located on an elevated position so residents also have superb views of the surrounding countryside.”

Buying a new home off-plan at the development offers a host of advantages, including having the pick of the plots. As well as potentially saving thousands of pounds, buyers also have the opportunity to influence the interior design of their home by choosing specific features such as the flooring and carpets, kitchen units and appliances.

All homes at The Forge have been designed and built to high specifications and offer buyers a chance to buy a stylish new home in a highly desirable area at an attractive price. The development is particularly popular with parents because of its tranquil and rural setting and its convenience for schools. The site enjoys the best of both worlds - a peaceful residential backdrop and the cosmopolitan attractions of Leeds right on the doorstep. It is also ideal for commuters, because it is in a great location for bus routes, and is within easy access to the M1, M62 and M621 and Leeds and Bradford airport. Leeds City train station is also close at hand.
