Off-plan sales at The Mulberries point to market confidence The Avenue, a stylish new collection of four and five-bedroom detached family homes have been released at The Mulberries in Little Canfield. Housebuilder Barratt Eastern Counties has noticed the recent re-emergence of off-plan purchasers in the area and it is confidently releasing these homes earlier than planned.

Rebecca Littler, Sales Director of Barratt Eastern Counties, said: “Homebuyers who purchase off-plan, ahead of the build process, benefit from a whole host of advantages. They will receive competitive pricing deals and will be able to secure the home of their choice. They also have the opportunity of personalising their new home by choosing fixtures and fittings, such as kitchen units and flooring.”

All the homes in The Avenue will be built to Code Level 3 and feature numerous eco-friendly initiatives, including solar panels to the roofs.

The Avenue comprises a wide range of versatile house styles traditionally designed in warm red and buff brick with smart modern interiors. All the four and five-bedroom properties feature large double bedrooms throughout, with en-suites to both the master and second bedrooms. Some of the properties also have separate formal dining areas and studies. They also have good-sized gardens and garages.

The Mulberries is situated within the attractive village-style development of Priors Green near Takeley, just two miles from Stansted Airport. It offers families the great combination of rural surroundings, excellent nearby amenities and convenient transport links.

Prices start at just £329,995 for a detached, four-bedroom house. Barratt is offering a wide range of incentives to help buyers in all situations, including payment of Stamp Duty or five per cent towards a deposit.

For those with an existing home to sell, potential purchasers can also take advantage of Barratt’s excellent Part Exchange service. Barratt can buy homebuyers’ existing property through its popular part exchange scheme, leaving them free to buy its new homes. This takes away the worry of being in a chain and purchasers can even stay in their old property until the new one is ready. With no estate agent fees to pay, or HIP pack to prepare, it can save money too.

Priors Green is an ideal family development, with tree-lined roads, plenty of green spaces and two village ponds. A new neighbourhood centre, with shops, a community centre and a primary school are also planned. A network of footpaths and cycleways wind through the development, allowing residents to enjoy the attractive surroundings to the full.

Bishop’s Stortford, just a few miles away, offers superb shopping, entertainment and leisure facilities. Nearby Great Dunmow provides further amenities, including an excellent leisure centre.

For commuters, a 45-minute train service from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street runs every 15 minutes. Road travel is equally easy with the M11, less than four miles away, providing a direct link to the M25. The development also benefits from great access to the A120 which links Bishop’s Stortford, Great Dunmow and Braintree.
