Miller Homes enjoys continued success in Gloucester

Miller Homes enjoys continued success in Gloucester Award-winning house builder Miller Homes is continuing to enjoy success in Gloucester, as it releases a further five new properties on the market to meet continued demand. After a series of quick sales at the Millers Gate development, house hunters are being urged to snap up the properties to avoid being disappointed.

Linda Androlia, regional sales director for Miller Homes, said: “It’s exciting that we’re able to offer a further set of new releases at Millers Gate - we can’t put properties on the market quick enough. The homes appear very much in demand, selling in quick succession. All prospective house-buyers should come down to visit the development and enjoy a slice of the action.”

The popularity of the development may also be accredited to the homes on offer, many of which are available on the Government backed shared equity scheme, HomeBuy Direct, if buyers reserve a property before 24th December using the initiative.
Linda explains: “Under the scheme, buyers have the opportunity to purchase 100 percent of their home by paying just 70 percent of the value, with Miller Homes and the Government co-funding the remaining 30 percent.”

The 30 percent equity loan only becomes repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their home, and because the scheme is government backed, buyers can feel completely secure in their investment. An additional benefit is that there is no interest payable on the equity loan for the first five years so the buyer doesn’t have the immediate worry of repayments.

Of the new homes available, three properties are in the popular Hardwicke style, including plot 376 – a three bedroom home with garage, available for £181,950, or with HomeBuy Direct, from only £127,365.

With its broad window incorporating French doors, the large family kitchen of the Hardwicke has a bright, welcoming ambience that will make it a natural hub of everyday household life, complementing a large upstairs lounge with a delightful French window. On the top floor, the two charming dormer bedrooms offer a wonderful sense of retreat and comfort.

Linda added: “As always with this development, we expect a lot of interest. Millers Gate offers all that is required for families looking for an area that provides community. It has a wealth of shops and amenities that help the village to retain a sense of local pride and identity that all will find welcoming. For busy working parents, there are great transport links available just one mile away on the M5, ensuring exceptional access to the motorway network.”

Part of the Kingsway Urban Village, Millers Gate offers a mix of beautiful three, four and five bedroom homes surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the River Severn. Residents are able to enjoy being part of a popular neighbourhood whilst still being able to indulge in the beautiful rural scenery that Gloucester offers.
