Radisson Edwardian celebrates Da Vinci with a Moaning Lisa

The acclaimed Radisson Edwardian Manchester Hotel is the official sponsor of the ‘Da Vinci - The Genius’ exhibition at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI). The inspirational exhibition, which opens its doors on November 14 2009 will feature the UK Premiere of the Secrets of Mona Lisa.

Fascinating 3-D animations of Da Vinci's most famous paintings and sculptures will be displayed as well as large-scale interactive machines, hand-crafted by modern-day Italian Artisans. With over 200 items on display, this is the most comprehensive and inspiring exhibition about the man who is arguably the greatest genius the world has even seen.

To celebrate the opening of the exhibition in Manchester the hotel have created a masterpiece of their own at Opus One; the Moaning Lisa (£8.50), a fine cocktail made up of Frangelico and Cacau dark liquors shaken with Amaretto, milk and cream. Served with a shot of espresso on the side.

Another reason to visit the hotel during the Da Vinci exhibition at MOSI is that a selected piece from the exhibition will be displayed in the hotel’s atrium for guests and visitors to see.
