Cornish Cottages expands portfolio for 2010
Cornish Cottages (formerly Mullion Cottages), the specialist in self-catering coastal and rural properties in south-west Cornwall, has announced substantial expansion in 2010.
With a very successful year’s trading in 2009 and positive forward bookings even before the new brochure was put together, it looks like many holidaymakers are again planning a ‘staycation’ next year.
The new brochure features properties sleeping from two to 10 with styles ranging from quaint fishermen’s cottages and quirky historic conversions through to new builds.
One introduction for 2010 is Lower Trewedna Barns, three adjoining barn conversions at Perranwell, a few minutes’ drive from the coast, Falmouth and Truro. The cottages – sleeping two and four – can be booked individually or would be ideal for families wishing to holiday together.
Rental of Trehane Barn (sleeps four) ranges between £258 and £651 per week.
Also new is Nanteague, a chalet-style conversion completed in 2009 and now available for couples. The property and gardens overlook Falmouth Bay to Pendennis Castle, while Porthallow’s shingle beach is a ten minute walk away.
A week’s rental is between £222 and £506.
