Save money on a new home in Grimsby this winter

Stamford Homes is offering huge savings on the price of a new home at its popular Ferriby Rise development in Scartho Top. With the number of reservations into next spring continuing to rise, a selection of four-bedroom detached homes is the latest focus of customer attention.

Due for completion this winter, many of the range of family homes are extremely popular available to buy under the Government’s HomeBuy Direct scheme – a shared equity scheme which allows the customer to own 100 per cent of their new home, but pay just 70 per cent for it.

In simple terms, the Government and Stamford Homes will each provide up to 15 per cent of the shared equity, with the balance being mortgageable through many major lenders – and currently with the possibility of no deposit to pay.

Ferriby Rise has enjoyed tremendous success since it was launched around 18 months ago.

Its location in a sought-after area of Grimsby has made it popular with those looking to stay relatively local. And the competitive prices also mean that customers are able to upgrade to a larger home with ease.

Stamford Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “For us at Ferriby Rise, the market has been more than satisfactory and the interest shown in our latest phase demonstrates that there are people who are serious about moving – and who can achieve their dream home with our assistance, if desired.

“Scartho Top is a great location, with a host of amenities close at hand. Much of our interest has been, and continues to be local.

“Ferriby Rise is a prime example of that dream home possibly being just around the corner, particularly if you are looking to upsize.”

The sales and marketing suite is open from Thursday to Monday from 10.30am until 5pm.
