Tour operator introduces ‘I’m A Celebrity’ for softies

Ant and Dec have hot competition; leading outdoor specialist Canvas Holidays has launched its very own version of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ available at selected FamilyExtra campsites across Europe for 2010.

With not a widgety grub in sight, Katie Price may be happier at one of the Canvas ‘I’m a Celebrity’ sessions, which form part of the successful FamilyExtra activity programme. Aimed at older children and adults, two teams go head to head in the session competing in ‘bush tucker’ trials including a ‘blind-fold banquet’ where teams will be tasked with guessing what they have just eaten blind-fold, an ‘on the spot’ quiz about celebrities and a sensory surprise where teams will have to forage for stars in amongst mystery objects and gooey liquids.

The teams will be competing for stars, the more stars the team wins, the more kit they receive to build their raft and paddle to the other side of the pool and be crowned Kings or Queens of the campsite.

Canvas Holidays’ dynamic FamilyExtra programme, available free to guests, has expanded to eight campsites for 2010 with new locations across France and Italy. ‘I’m a Celebrity’ will be available at FamilyExtra campsites from May 2010 throughout the summer season.

A seven-night holiday at Camping Parc de Fierbois, Tours, France for arrivals onsite on 7th June 2010 costs from £270 per family based on two adults and up to four children, saving £100 early booking discount with accommodation in a two bedroom mobile home. Price includes a return midweek Dover to Calais P&O ferry crossing for a car and passengers.
