Stock up on some festive fizz during a last minute wine-tasting weekend to Reims Christmas Market with specialist operator Grape Escapes.

Grape Escapes’ one-off Christmas Markets Weekend has late availability departing 4 – 6 December. The weekend includes a full-day guided tasting tour to three Champagne Houses followed by time exploring the colourful stalls of Reims’ Christmas Market.

Reims was the site of the first French Christmas celebration in 496 and each year its Christmas Village lights up the city during the run up to Christmas with street entertainment, magicians, carol singers, and more than 125 wooden stalls selling seasonal gifts, decorations and delicious traditional local food and drink. 

The Christmas Markets Champagne Weekend costs from just £299 per person and includes return Dover to Calais ferry crossing with P&O Ferries for a car and two passengers; two-nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation; a full day private coach tour including a visits to three Champagne Houses with tastings, four course gourmet lunch with accompanying wines and Champagnes; an English speaking guide for the tour who will provide information on the region and the wines.
