Redrow receives stamp of approval in Torrbridge

When it comes to community involvement housebuilder Redrow is first class. Taw and Torrbridge Stamp Club’s presentation boards were starting to look past their best. So when club member Ted Austen, a resident at Redrow’s Rolle Quay venture, in Barnstaple, discovered that the award-winning developer was looking for charities and clubs in the area to support, he wrote a letter explaining what was required.
Hannah Newnes, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: “We asked residents at Rolle Quay to nominate charities or organisations that would benefit from a little financial support and the stamp club is just one we have chosen to back. More than just a housebuilder, we like to support the communities in which we build and we are delighted to be able to help the stamp club by providing custom-made display boards.”
Ted had been to the stamp club on a number of occasions but only joined last year when he moved to Rolle Quay.
“The presentation boards will be used to showcase sheets of stamps, competition entries and for people giving displays. Our old boards are really past their best and we needed new ones,” he explained.
“Now, thanks to Redrow we have new boards and the old ones will be recycled by Bideford Stamp Club so it’s not just one club reaping the benefit.”
Redrow has put its own unique stamp on Rolle Quay, where a striking collection of two and three-bedroom apartments overlooking the River Yeo have now all been sold.
The delightful development is conveniently close to the centre of the thriving market town of Barnstaple. From health care services, to schools, colleges and shops the area caters for home buyers’ every need.
