Glen Dimplex, the largest electrical heating business in the world, has ordered a new fleet of 50 Renault Trafic vans.

Glen Dimplex employs 8,500 people worldwide and will use the Renault Trafic vans for the Liverpool-based Glen Dimplex Home Appliances division.  The vehicles will be driven by service engineers who travel the UK maintaining domestic appliances and were chosen for their competitive pricing and running costs.

Andrew Winstone, Fleet Manager at Glen Dimplex, said: “We chose Renault for our fleet as we were impressed with the Trafic van – it has space for the racking that we fit to transport tools and equipment, and looks the part in our bespoke silver metallic paint.  We’ve ensured that each one comes with air conditioning, so that staff arrive at customers’ homes cool, calm and collected!”

Richard Turk, Renault Corporate Account Manager for the North West, said: “We’re delighted to have supplied Glen Dimplex which is a huge success story, having grown exponentially since it started in the early 1970s.  We’re delighted to be looking after their fleet needs.”
