Following a late cancellation, Just Grenada is offering seven festive nights at The Hermitage on the Caribbean island of Nevis from 19th to 26th December, reduced from £2225pp to £1895pp.

The price includes return flights to St Kitts with British Airways, transfers to Nevis on the Plantation's private boat, and a week’s bed and breakfast accommodation in a Deluxe Cottage.

A number of festive events are planned during the Christmas period, with Roast Suckling Pig on 23rd December, a traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, and Roast Goose, as well as a champagne picnic on Christmas Day.

In addition daily snorkelling, fishing and boating excursions are planned along the coastlines of Nevis and St Kitts, with shuttles to the beach in the Hermitage Land Rover.

The historic Hermitage Plantation comprises just 15 pastel-coloured ‘gingerbread’ cottages, plus a lovingly restored three-bedroom Great House, reputed to be the oldest wooden building in the entire Caribbean, retaining all the charm and tradition of the 17th century.

Transporting guests to a bygone era of gracious living, this property reflects the owners’ interests in island life, with its original cuisine, reconstructed cottage rooms, collection of antiques, old-fashioned gardens, horses, carriages, and local crafts and artwork. Plus it sits in lush, tropical gardens 800 feet above sea level at the base of Nevis Peak, the 3000 foot, rainforest covered mountain, with the beautiful beaches of Nevis just a short drive or boat ride away.

Hotel facilities and attractions include a swimming pool, tennis court, trail riding on horseback, a plantation farmyard, carriage rides through historic Gingerland, along scenic back roads for a flavour of West Indian country life, and walks and hikes along the ancient Heritage Highway, which passes right through the grounds.
