iPhone app 'Superagent' with a $25,000 prize

Dublin based tech startup, FactorySix, have unveiled their debut iPhone game on the AppStore, announcing a $25,000 prize for users, to be awarded in January. The app, which puts users in the hot seat at a Hollywood talent agency, was co-written by FactorySix founders Rick Larkin & Oisin Hanrahan and is available for download from AppStores worldwide.

Gamers deal with a series of hilarious situations surrounding the management of their A-list Hollywood client and are awarded commission based on their decisions.

To celebrate the launch of their debut game, FactorySix are offering a $25,000 prize to the highest scoring user by January 31st, 2010. This is the first time such a large prize has been offered to users of an iPhone App. FactorySix co-founder Oisin Hanrahan said; "We want to reward our gamers for buying and playing our games, and given the Hollywood theme of SuperAgent what better way to do that than with a big cheque?"

FactorySix was founded in 2009 by entrepreneurs Rick Larkin and Oisin Hanrahan. The founders have been involved in media and online for some time with Larkin founding indie film outfit i-Wire Films and Hanrahan recently selling the political website MiCandidate.com he co-founded. The company has 4 other titles in the 'Super' range under development, most of which will come to market in early 2010. They're also working on apps for several major international companies.
