Shoppers urged to stamp out shoe neglect

It is a sad, but familiar tale. Wrapped in shiny paper, thousands are welcomed into family homes each Christmas morning. They are greeted by squeals of delight – but days later lie forgotten.
Some are left in dark corners, deprived of love and exercise. Others are buried in backs of cupboards or wardrobes, left to warp, discolour, lose laces or have heels snapped off.
But not any more. Pioneering shoe storage website tszuji.co.uk is urging Britons to pamper their pumps and love their loafers – even beyond the January sales.
tszuji.co.uk (pronounced ‘shoe-jee’) provides racks, clear boxes and unique storage wheels which offer shoes, boots and trainers safe and stylish homes.
“Footwear neglect is a nationwide epidemic – and it lurks in all our wardrobes,” says founder Glendon Lloyd.
“We suspect there could be abuse happening in every home in the country.
“But shoes need to stand up and be counted. They deserve a long and happy life.”
To help spread the word, tszuji.co.uk has appointed Results PR to send its message to the masses.
“When we heard about tszuji.co.uk’s shoe care products, we knew we had to be a part of the storage revolution,” says Simon Green, group account director at Results PR.
“This neglect simply has to stop. We are urging the nation to visit tszuji.co.uk and get not just happy feet, but happy shoes as well.”
