QuickStep your way into a brand new waterside home

Bloor Homes can understand why you would want to purchase one of its brand new homes at Monk Meadow Quay. After all, the waterside development is part of the exciting Gloucester docklands regeneration scheme which is seeing the area transformed into a lively and vibrant location. The homes are also built to the highest specifications and yet are attractively priced, so it is easy to see why the homes are so desirable.

However, Bloor also understands that many people are being deterred from purchasing their dream home at Monk Meadow Quay by the high level of deposit currently required by many lenders. That’s why Bloor is offering a selection of two bedroom properties for sale through its QuickStep scheme.

Not only does the scheme offer buyers the opportunity to initially pay just 85 per cent of the property price, with the remaining 15 per cent payable at any time within the first ten years, Bloor is also offering to pay a five per cent gifted deposit towards their mortgage. What’s more, unlike some schemes, there is no ‘rent’ to be paid on the 15 per cent – purchasers simply repay the balance when the house is sold, when their financial circumstances improve, or by re-mortgaging at the end of their ten year period.

So, with QuickStep, you could buy a two-bedroom Highgate style property from just £118,957. “It’s a great scheme which is particularly useful for purchasers who don’t have equity from a previous property sale or other savings they can use to fund their deposit,” said Debbie Baker, sales advisor at Monk Meadow Quay. “The development is extremely popular and we are delighted that we have been able to help people take their first step onto the property ladder through the scheme.”

In addition to the two-bedroom properties, a number of alternative properties are also for sale, some of which may be available for purchase using Bloor Homes’ part exchange scheme. Homes currently available include a 3-bedroomed Bramwell style home priced at £178,950.

Monk Meadow Quay will eventually comprise 221 new homes, each offering residents easy access to a major new food store, designer factory outlet shops, offices, workshops, cafes, restaurants and bars that will be right on their doorstep. The city centre is just one mile away and Junction 12 of the M5 is less than five miles away, providing easy access to the Midlands and the West Country.

Located in the midst of the varied array of trendy bars, restaurants and shops that are emerging in the vicinity, as well as the nearby Gloucester Quay’s designer outlet centre, the development offers an exciting new lifestyle as well as a great long term investment.

If you would like further information, the development is open daily between 10.00am and 5.15pm. Alternatively, you can take a look on the Bloor Homes web site at bloorhomes.com.
